About Natalie Gillis — Fine Artist, Denver Colorado

Natalie Gillis has lived in Colorado her whole life. She grew up in a military family — the youngest of four, with an older brother and two older sisters — and painting has been a constant through all of it.

She is a vibrant, eclectic, and witty presence — someone who brings that same energy into the studio. Art has been both a longtime joy and a way to process the world. Work has often limited the time she can spend painting. Building this practice is her path toward doing it full-time.

Every painting she makes is the only one. No prints. No editions. No reproductions. When a work leaves the studio, it goes to exactly one person — and that's the end of it.

These paintings are the beginning of that.
